This is the start of what will eventually be developed as a stand-alone
(executable) application for Mac and PC. As it stands:
- Click the "Create New Ball" button to bring up the Create Ball menu.
- Select a color, x,y, and z coordinates, and a relative size.
- Click the "Create Ball" button. At the moment 20 balls may be created.
- Click the "Create New Line" button to bring up the Create Line menu.
- The rotation buttons will rotate the camera around the y-axis (vertical).
You can also use the Left and Right arrow keys to start a continuous rotation.
To stop click either rotation button. Middle button puts camera back.
- Balls and Lines may be selected for editing by clicking on them.
Their attributes may be changed, or they can be deleted. If you're balls
intersect, well, that's your problem for now.
Update - 4 August 2002: 3D model corrected; Lines added (not yet editable).
Update - 9 August 2002: Lines editable.
Update - 11 August 2002: One preset added.
Update - 14 August 2002: Shift-Click to connect two balls with a line.
Plans for the final stand-alone version:
- The ability to name and store a given configuration.
- An indicator of the camera angle compared to the starting position.
