The light blue square is 300x300 pixels - 90,000 pixels total.
When you press the start button the blue pixels start to decay
into black pixels, kind of a radioactive decay. You'll see a
graph of the decay forming at left. The vertical axis is the
number of undecayed pixels, and the horizontal axis is time.
The horizontal lines on the chart are at roughly 90000/2,
90000/4 and 90000/8, so you can determine the halflife of the
decay process in this way. You can change the rate of decay
with the "Randomize Rate" button. 20 December 2000
